Grudges
Grudges

Do women hold grudges, or do we just have a better memory for life’s incidents that cause us anger and frustration? Have you ever been in an argument with your partner, and you mention the last time you two argued about the same thing (two years, five months ago), and he looks completely flabbergasted? Then you get even more frustrated because he doesn’t remember arguing about this before? (If none of this rings a bell, just stop reading. If you can relate, carry on.) So the two of you continue having a heated discussion, you can’t understand why he doesn’t understand, and suddenly he asks if you want pizza for dinner. That’s what really puts you over the edge because now he’s changing the subject, the problem hasn’t been solved, and it must mean he doesn’t care. If any of this is giving you flashbacks, then you can blame it on his mother.
According to TIME.com, why someone can “get over it” so quickly is because of a secure and nurturing childhood relationship with his mom. Which leads to the obvious conclusion that people who carry a grudge, didn’t. I don’t know... I know an awful lot of women who can relate to the above scenario, and they can’t all have insecure relationships with their mothers.
Tell me what you think!
