The Best Cornbread Ever!

The easiest, cornbread recipe is from Genius Kitchen. I modified it a little to make it the BEST! Everyone in the family loves it, including the picky teen. 😊 With only five ingredients, this is so simple too! 

Preheat the oven to 400* F while gathering supplies and mixing the batter. The prep is so quick you may be ready before your oven is! 

Ingredients

2 boxes of Jiffy Corn Muffin mix
2 eggs
2/3 cup of milk 
1 cup shredded cheese (I prefer sharp cheddar)
1 can of creamed corn (15.5 oz)

Directions

Mix the Jiffy, eggs, and milk together in a large bowl. Add the shredded cheese and creamed corn. Pour into a 13 x 9 pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes. I would start with 20 minutes, and if it looks golden, use a toothpick to check doneness. It should come out clean. 

When the cornbread is ready, cool it on a rack for about five minutes before slicing. Enjoy with butter and honey!
